It is unthinkable to contact a common insurance broker for aeronautical policies. We are based in Namibia, and operate a Cessna Grand Caravan there together with some Cessna 210s. Our general insurance policy give us full coverage for Africa only. Last July we tried to extend it to a world wide coverage, but we were unable to have it done. Eventually we were referred to Ungaro Srl by an italian friend and decided to give it a try. Within a week Mr Paolo Ungaro managed to secure us a world wide coverage at a very good rate. We think the service was excellent. Would recommend it to anyone operating GA aircrafts.

Paolo Ungaro
Born in Turin, but living in Milan since its early years, Paolo comes from a family of insurers. He was appointed Agent at Fondiaria at only 20 years old. At 23, he graduated in Economics at the Catholic University of Milan. Agent of Generali and successively broker, Paolo has been working in Insurance for over 30 years.
He is currently Chairman and Managing Director of Ungaro srl Insurance brokers. He is also Chairman of the Cassa di Previdenza Commercio e Industria of Milan since 2000. Besides Italian, he speaks fluently English, Spanish and French as well as German and Greek in a scholastic way.
He has won the Italian Bridge Championship at 22 years old. Moreover, he practiced many sports in a competitive way, being a ranked athlete in tennis and skiing, passionate skipper and golfer (hcp 7). Pilot with Instrument rating for over 30 years, Paolo is now Class Rating Instructor with different ratings (SEP, MEP, IR, PA46, High Performance Aircraft, Complex Aircraft, EASA and FAA).
